hey everyone... so it's been a little while... sorry for those of you who actually read this :) life has been one thing after another recently. not all bad just constantly something!
first off i won't go into details on here but the job didn't end up working out so i am back at square one with looking for the job. i know that GOD has something out there for me but it is just hard to see that savings account going steadily down each month. i did sub at a preschool two days last week, but they haven't called any this week. so hopefully something will open up soon so i can have some sort of a steady income!
i finally found a church that i really enjoy. i am going to the summit in durham and i love it! i am part of a small group that meets once a week and i am really getting to know some of the people from it and just enjoying the fellowship every wednesday. it is quickly becoming my favorite part of the week. :) i have to go through a three week class in order to join the church and then i will be able to start volunteering with the children's ministry. i am beyond excited about this. i have missed working with the grade school kids so much. even though i only did this once a week back in tuscaloosa i didn't realize how much i loved it until i didn't get to do it anymore.
school is going great! i made it through midterms (praise GOD) and now i'm on to working on the papers! i have three to get done before thanksgiving!! the information i'm reading on is really interesting and i am enjoying that part of it, but unfortunatly i am not big on writing papers :( but it's def something that i gotta get use!
well this is about all i got for now! hopefully i will be able to be better about this and not go a month without updating it :) i hope everyone is having a good week so far and i miss you all

3. my quiet times- these have seriously suffered with the business of school work. i know this is NO excuse but when you spend 4 and a half hours in the library reading about the book of Ruth you sorta don't think about doing your quiet time. :(
4. my grandmother (dad's mom)- she had surgery on her knee yesterday. it went well but please pray that she heals fully and quickly.
5. my parents- my grandmother is staying with them while she is healing and i know it's adding stress to their lives
