so happy new year everyone. i can't believe how quickly the past month went by. i am sad that i have not been able to update this like i wanted to, but we are no longer able to pick up internet so whenever i go somewhere to get internet i usually end up just checking email, facebook, and school stuff and then leave. today i am doing my typical sunday routine so i am in barnes and noble between church times and i can actually get internet so i figured i should update everything. :)
my christmas was great!!!! i enjoyed being home and spending a lot of time with my family and friends. we had a lot of people staying in our house and as busy and loud and crowded as it was, i loved it! although i had a blast i actually did not cry when i left. this is def a good thing.
since i have been back i haven't really been doing much at all and it has been great. i did start work but other than that i have been sleeping and reading and just relaxing. i figure i may as well take advantage of it while i can because starting jan 28th life will be hectic again between taking four classes again and working three days a week. i have also decided to start volunteering in the church office so this week i will be helping out on tuesday and thursday just doing some office work. i'm actually really excited about it. while i have been helping out with awana for a few months i haven't really gotten to know any of the ministers in the church due to the fact that awana is headed up completely by volunteers. i will be helping the secretary who is with the youth and college minister so it will be fun to start getting more involved.
well i guess that is about it. like i said there hasn't been much going on since i got back but i am enjoying being able to just relax and get into a routine with work before school starts back up. i hope everyone has had a great sunday thus far and that you all have a great week :)
