ahhh it's been quite a while i know i know. see the thing is that since we got back from christmas we haven't been able to pick up the internet as well so i don't really just sit on my computer like i did last semester, so things like this have fallen a little behind. right now i'm sitting in patterson hall waiting for class to start. i got here really earlier today because we have been snowed in for 4 days!!!!! yes 4 days of going no where!!!!! can you tell i was getting cabin fever? :) everything was still closed up today, except the seminary. i have class from 6:30 till 9:20 tonight and i wanted to drive over while it was still daylight so there was a double purpose for me coming over so earlier :).
ok so while i was registering for classes i kept thinking to myself, "oh this is going to be such an easy semester, considering what all i had to do last time." hahahaha did God ever put me in my place. i now know that this semester is going to be just as difficult and about twice as time consuming :( it's all going to be fine though, this is what i signed up for and this is where God wants me right now so i know that i will survive. i pulled out 3 a's and 1 b last semester so hopefully i can do as well this semester. i am trying really hard to be ok with the fact that i don't have to make all a's. it was never such a big deal to me during undergrad but here i just want to prove to myself that i can do this. i know that if i give it my all and work at it, the final grade won't matter, but still to my human nature it does. so that is one of my goals for this semester, to work my tail off and try as hard as i can and glorify God all the while, and if i make a's b's or whatever i will know that i did my best! :)
my job is still going really good. like i've said before i didn't realize how much i enjoyed teaching preschool until i didn't get to do it everyday! so it has been so fun being back into this again. God has blessed me with an amazing lead teacher to learn from as well. amy not only is great with the kids and super creative, but she is also becoming a friend and that makes the days even more enjoyable. :)
well i guess that's all i got for now. i'm gonna go and do some reading before class starts up. :) i hope everyone is doing great and i miss you all!!!
